Somnet has an independent quality assurance (QA) team with test experts who verify software quality. This team focuses on various aspects of testing such as



white box testing, functionality testing, performance testing, usability testing and test automation. The quality assurance process begins early in the lifecycle of the software project with the test team reviewing the requirements for testability. They understand the focus of the requirements and create a test strategy. The QA team also works with the client to identify the right set of acceptance tests that will be run to accept the application.

Delivery Methodology

Somnet follows a phased, iterative software development methodology incorporating the best practices. The major phases will be Inception, Elaboration, Construction and Transition, covering the specific processes of requirements analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.



The iterative approach will allow the project team to capture the overall business requirements at the start of the project and refine the same over the project duration. The incremental delivery approach will allow modules to be developed independently and tested by the client, allowing for final integration. Phase wise iterative approach increases visibility to client in the solution development.
